On 1 January 1995, the Federal Government commissioned the umbrella organisations of employees and employers to take responsibility for organising vested benefits accounts. The result was Stiftung Auffangeinrichtung BVG, which has looked after vested benefits accounts since 1995 and reports to the Oberaufsichtskomission Berufliche Vorsorge (OAK BV).

From 1995 to 2008, these accounts were managed by the market leader in occupational benefits, Swiss Life. With effect from 1 January 2009, we now manage the vested benefits accounts internally, which has entailed some organisational changes for our customers too. Nevertheless, our new administration system allows our business to run smoothly and efficiently.

The legal registered office of Stiftung Auffangeinrichtung BVG and our offices are in Zurich, from where we support our customers throughout Switzerland and around the world. To simplify communication, we provide information and advice in German, French, Italian and English.
